eyes awakened, heart convicted

Sunday 9-11-11 a day to prepare for DR. A day that this heart of mine was being broken to really evaluate what God sees. This day when our country was remembering 9-11-01 ten years ago . . . TODAY (9-11-11)these hands were preparing for a future to reach out through hard work that would measure a harvest in such greater dividends. See after two very brutal storms in NW MO, a farmer allowed us to live out the gospel by gleaning his cornfields that the combine cannot pick up the abundance left behind. That gave an opportunity to prepare and pray over what lie ahead. Young to old alike working hand in hand our eyes are awakened and our hearts to be yet convicted. May we live to be scripture breathed in reality of the Harvest of souls!
I loved working this day and the next early Monday morning with a team of twelve to fill another harvest wagon.

"Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in Harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as afar as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written; "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. On the contrary;
"If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head."
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Romans 12:9-21
"Remember this: Whoever SOWS SPARINGLY will also REAP SPARINGLY, and whoever SOWS GENEROUSLY will also REAP GENEROUSLY. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all Grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written:
"He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever."
Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. you will be made rich n every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.
Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the Gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.

And in their prayers for you their heart swill go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. Tanks be to God for his indescribable gift!" II Corinthians 9:6-15
