Luke 6:27-28

But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

Interesting that todays thought of scripture is what we just read and learned via I Samuel on Sunday morning.

Maybe the Lord is trying to say something. ;-D

How about it? Why not LOVE!!!!

Friends ;-)

Fun with Friends. You simply cannot beat that! I went on some "training appointments" this past week and stopped by a couple of friends homes that have been in my life for minimums of eighteen years give or take five years. Friends through ministry, friends through Camps, friends through children rearing, ahhhh it warms my heart that through the years it has been wonderful to know them all. At one home, we laughed so hard - mind you while I was training, that it brought back many memories of pleasure to call them "Family Friends"! I truly LOVE a good laugh in many areas of life even when it can be "serious" in the atmosphere of a training yet light hearted enough to take one another serious while laughing together. Thank You to those of you who are assisting me in training, and allowing me to laugh as I learn, also to feel like I am at "home" and the essense to smell the PINE of the ROCKIES (awwww refreshing).

Fun with Friends in each stage of our life is stupendous, especially when the bond is through Jesus Christ! No regrets! And it made me remember In Christ, there are no absentees in time just sweet fond fun that binds us together no matter what! :-) And when we do reconnect time feels like it stood still and we picked up where we left off - SWEET! Fun with Friends . . . that are really "FAMILY".

That is the joy of FUN with FRIENDS!

check the attitude

Step by step it is all about our attitude. Some are the most positive, some the dreary of dreary negative, some in between but it is all up to us. I have really been thinking quite a bit lately and it has come to me that there are those that can rain on any parade no matter what. You know the attitude. Maybe it comes from being related to "GRUMPY" from the Snow white and the seven dwarfs, or Eore from Winnie the Pooh. Okay so those are fictitious characters but you get the point.
Who can make a difference? YOU and ME with the right ATTITUDE! Yes our attitude determines every thing. Which is the outcome we desire? The pain of CHANGE of the pain of REGRET? With deep thought and a wake up call, I know which I desire. WAKE UP!!!! Do a check up for the neck up! OKAY, Maybe a Heart stress test from the bowels of who we are inwardly. There are so many outcomes that lie in our paths because of OUR ATTITUDE.

So I ask, as Art Williams once said, "Are you a Dud or are you a STUD?" He has a wonderful attitude, a heart check up with the LORD and is a wonderful Leader! When you run into an ongoing pessimistic, negative attitude of a person - LEAVE. If it is YOU - CHANGE YOUR ATTITUDE. The Lord gave a wonderful example in so many ways through his Son, Jesus Christ. Many can not stand Him, because it requires change of life for the here and now, only to create the BEST IN YOU to really be one that attracts light and POSITIVE change.

You CAN DO IT! Everybody wants to BE somebody! EVERYBODY! Somebody to LOVE! Somebody to LEAD! Somebody to Change! Somebody to LISTEN! Somebody to CARE! Somebody to REACH the LOST! Somebody to CURE! Somebody to invent the REAL CURE FOR CANCER - Without being GREEDY of the MONEY! Somebody to RESCUE the weary! Somebody to be a GREAT MAMA or DADDY! Somebody to Touch the UNTOUCHABLES! Somebody to ENCOURAGE! Somebody to SACRIFICE! Somebody to SERVE!
It's all attainable!
ATTITUDE.
Positive.
Negative.
Where is MINE, Where is YOURS?
Attractive?
Repelling?
hummmmmmmmm.

So take the attitude check and "Be a Stud!" It's all up to you. Go do it!

communication via a call

It's so sweet to hear and discover that her "Daddy" has been calling her. He has contacted her more than I realized. :-) Yes He also misses his little girl. When we left last week before he joined us on the weekend he had called her each day. He also called her the morning he was going to "see her." Since our return home he has called her quite a bit. ;-) The conversations, sweet (and will be left private) and catching up.Me? I've desired to call her yet give her some room to just get acclimated to the environment and the studies and the social life, which I know is NOT hard for her whatsoever. Now maybe it's time for me to call her and not just "write" her via technology. Here is to a phone call and communicating. Not texting. ;-)

Daddy's little girl is getting to hear his voice and I believe it warms them both!

When we think of someone; we need to pick up the phone and call them.
It is good for both.

One week

She has been gone one week today! Can it be possible? Where did the last eighteen and one half years go? When did those wee little fists stretch to reach out and be transformed for new adventures outside of our foundational four walls? Is she missed? YES. Is our home 'different'? Yes. Are there any regrets? NO. Seeing her new world, meeting her roommate and her roomies family, literal relatives from AZ and the sweet relationships missed, it all made a world of comfort and assured it is all okay! She is just going to LOVE it here (her new home), okay THERE.
The room was set up in roughly 35 minutes. A MAZING!!! The finished product? "PRESSSSHHHH!" The families who helped us get the furniture there AND set up was so appreciated. The set up process was wonderful! Reconnecting with our AZ family - SWEET as well those we miss seeing around Mo Town and from Kent and my past! One week that brought many years into prospective - deep breath in, exhale peeeeacccce, JOY, awwwhhhhhhh.

Am I excited? YES (can't you tell by all the exclamation marks? Tee Hee ROFLOL). Oh my heart aches to talk with her and "hear all about her first week and its adventures", to hear her come in at night, lock the doors, turn out the lights, open our bedroom door and say, "Mommy, Daddy, I'm home!" :: knowing we all are "in and safe". She is safe. She is enjoying her new life. She is capable to survive and lead with her God Blessed given abilities. We release her back to HIM knowing we tried our best to give her the training necessary for "such a time as this" to fly. Also to see the nest here at home :: it is flying with confidence in the midst of one weeks change that is not so weak. ;-) One week. Many lives = One LIFE. ONE UNITY - THE LORD REIGNS and BLESSES ABUNDANTLY. One week warms the heart to the deepest of reflection and exhilarating liberty of true tranquility. The soft tear gently escapes finally while penning this reflection. Thank You Lord for many ONE WEEK events through my midst, a vapor called, MY LIFE.
One who thought, "I will be weak probably" realized differently the heavenly blessings of this season. I AM BLESSED and it showed in ONE WEEK!

30 Days

I have been laid a challenge which I am going to do! Will it be unnatural? I don't believe so. Will it be a challenge? Yes . . . anything for a consistent thirty days consecutively is CHALLENGING. Will it have results? Yes when totally implemented. Will it change me? Most definitely.
It begins NOW. I'll live these next 30 Days like I was just given only thirty more days to live LIFE.
Bring on the challenge and let's see what the results bring about! ;-D

"Giddy Up!"

LIFE Good, Better, BEST

The passage of time is amazingly quick paced and sluggishly clingy. The Tortoise and the Hare, an Aesop Fable can illustrate this with such accuracy to the point it is profound. LIFE. It is creeping up on a week that our darling girls have been active in a whole new episode of melodrama that quite frankly has been called LIFE!

The electric eyes of Blues (three shades), Deep Chestnut, light Amber Brown and Hazel (two shades) are captivated in the way they sing of joy with what IS! Each breath, Each step, Each smile, Each adventure in One More Day called their LIFE.

I guess after hearing Kent speak on servant hood and pondering the reality of that concept- LIFE. Soon there after, I was running into Hy-Vee, finding a publication from TIME magazine on Mother Theresa about her LIFE making a difference. It made me realize I have learned many things on "servant hood" through our version of Our Little Women, through what we know as LIFE.

LIFE is like the ocean tides bursting to sing in my heart with each pump of new blood through this unique muscle, vast white blood cells, and the nano seconds of breath. LIFE.

Live as if my LIFE is an expression of the true source. Give with all that I have. Share in the magnitude of a minimum of 100 % and my BEST! Help because it is POSSIBLE.

Dream.
Risk.
BE.
No regrets.
Forgive.
Learn.
Lead.
LOVE exponentially.
LIFE!
We posses only ONE :: Give my all, with my LIFE.
Good, Better or BEST for the KINGDOM . . .

. . .Here am I LORD SEND ME - LIFE, mine is YOURS!

Can you say, "follow"?

"Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good"

Titus 3:1

ZZZZZzzzz

I am so tired. I am going to sleep peacefully because she is safely where she needs to be. With joy and peace in my heart I am going to catch some Zzzzzzzz.

transitions

Usually life seems to pass us by in a flash. But lately it has been a breath of fresh air. The winds of time have been a sweet sent to my life. Every bone in my body quickened with haste to make the proper preparations. In some cases, with a slight edge that quitefrankly wasn't necessary. Life was/ is going to change. But it is going to be just fine.

Our home will be what it is going to be and it refreshes my soul!
I can hardly wait to anticipate the growth from this wave of growth from some serious pruning. I discovered my nephew in a hole new light and it is precious to me. The remembrance of what was, and live in the now gave hope for the exhilarating anticipation of the distant outcome from the joy through the CIRCLE of LIFE.
Change :: Transitions :: Blessings :: RISKS all are so very sweet!

Be a Pioneer, a Dreamer, A Visionary, A Risk Taker. Enjoy transitions and learn from and through them. I have and it has all been refreshing to experience!

It's time

My heart is pondering because "it's time" and life will forever change our family unit. She is our first and we knew with out any question it would come. It's time. She is ready. We will cherish. We are grateful. We are human. We are real. We are fragile yet strong. It's time.

She opened her wee little eyes long ago, yet it seems like "just yesterday". It's time. We held her, we prayed over her, we have experienced many things with her. It's time. The eve of change at the the precept of anticipation and butterflies pump feverishly through my vanes. It's time. The adrenaline of so many emotions. It's time.

Here she is Lord. We are releasing her back to you. It's time. THANK YOU, for our quiver is full and we praise you for the opportunity that seems to have flown by rather briskly. It's time.

forty eight hours

There is so much to do and it seems not enough time to accomplish the tasks that lie at hand. Intriguing to me is the thought of it all, the quandary of where it will lead, and does it really matter in the scheme of things? Will it be My Opus? Oh my Joy :: To watch the Fabulous Five Princesses, my own little women this week has given me much joy, when other things are tugging, pulling and stretching at my heart.
Sure. Why? Because it is moments to live my daughter. It is the time to reminisce of what will come with this move. This adventure is just beginning. It makes me step back in time and remember the dreams, the goals, the visions of expectation that I had and some that I still posses. Life is fragile and very brief in all of eternity. The reflections of life are sweet, flowing with currents so full of rushing waters, slight bends, rapid waterfalls, and the melodic tune of a bubbling brook. It is the ebb and flow that I am truly thankful for every part of my life. Now with the next forty eight hours I will take a deep breath, look into my baby girls eyes and wish her the very Best as I inhale her vivacious smile, soak in her rays of Joys while I Praise the King of Kings for another FORTY EIGHT HOURS!

One week

One day the doctor said, "It's a girl" and handed her over to my arms open to warm her, to cradle and love her, tell her I LOVE YOU MYA. Upon seeing her face she smiled. Her little hands, feet, body wiggled just a little and her daddy greeted her saying, "Hello Mya, I love You!" She opened her eyes, turned her head directly to him and greeted him with a smile to. Our hearts melted, she knew our voices from reading to her in the womb. We prayed over her right then for our Savior to watch over her and to help us guide her through her calling.

Calling for what? God knows. We trust. Now we have one week left and our little girl will open a new chapter on Thursday morning and we will release her to truly fly with our blessings. Our home? Changed forever but with no regrets. Here is to one week left living as one unit as it has always been when we started our family. We love You babe! Here's to one week.

To Rise and Fall

Put one step in front of the other. Baby Steps. Perseverance. Crawl. Run. Plateau. What do they all have in common one may inquire? It may be a risk to rising and falling. Some make it but others QUIT!

The rise and fall of many nations, kingdoms, relations make it through the toughest of times when they rise from a fall. The meaning to gather your wits about oneself and move forward when others may try and suggest other wise or the "easy way out". The successes of life often that are EXCELLENT come to those who make it through the struggle and rise from the falls in life with character; despite the attention seekers, who do nothing.

Have you ever run into what I call "The Z00m Eeeekers" racing forward at extreme pace to stop and not complete what they say they will ~ EVER? Or how about the "New Next Thing SEEKERS" always going for the hype of NEW NEXT THING but again never follow through with anything because they are busy running to the new thing? Or this one has grated me since a child, the "Busy Laziness" individuals that want the strokes, glory and pat on the backs but never finish or accomplish anything because they are not willing to stick to the task and MAKE IT HAPPEN, they slide by pretending to be so busy and are doing EVERYTHING by the CUFF. Example: An individual of a location I was employed, playing around acting like the individual was working but never did anything really - kind of "winging it" and "getting by" but it's good mentality. They desire the GLORY of The outcomes but are not REAL. You know those kind of "jump on the band wagon" individuals yet don't really work. Those who are "cheating" everyone around them but MOSTLY themselves in the guise of rising to the top but have "no fruit for their labor".

As a brother who preached on this four years ago ~ they are like the "Cotton Candy Christians" after the frill and fluff of life sugar coating everything with NO SUBSTANCE. YUCK!!! They are the individuals that are not founded firmly on the solid foundation. A minuet fraction of the abilities that "could be" but never accomplished because deep down they are just quitters because they don't work, waiting until the last minute - making the atmosphere inconsistently mediocre thinking it is okay. Much like the rise and fall from the Asap Fable :: the Tortoise and the Hare. Call it what you will but let's be true - it's laziness!

I want to rise and fall with those who are steady, yet rise for the long haul. Visionaries with longevity. Those who can work earnestly in hard and make it to the end with incredible character. The rise and fall of faithfulness that develops the integrity of that character to be substantial to the outcome of a full life of eminent humility with rich fullness of humility and a legacy. One that seeks not his own glory but the only ONE that truly matters. When I fall I pray I rise in the masters hand refined and get back up to try it again until it pleases him to the fullest in order to use my abilities, as are best and press on.

I am thankful he led and continues to lead how to rise from the fall that means eternal rewards.

So keep the Faith, stay the coarse and complete the task before you whether alone or with a few along side your being knowing the reward is in Heaven and keep His EXCELLENCE in mind and give it your BEST at the very least. Have a wonderful life!

tech no frustration my eye

Have you ever had supreme frustration with technology to the point that your very nerves went absolutely crazy? You look on a "map" to discover that it is TOTALLY incorrect and created a mind lapse of unquestionable doubt and no sense of reason what so ever?

With today that was the very thing that took place and scared the holy tar out of me, Kent and the girls. Satellite maps without accuracy is AWFUL for a parents heart and mind when it is VERY inaccurate! UGH!!!

Praise God that it wasn't what it was portrayed in ANY WAY and as a parent, TRUST wasn't totally thrown to the wind - after loosing a decade of life praying it wasn't accurate, then screaming at the stupidity to be with in 6.1 miles of accuracy way AFTER the fact is dealt with !!!!!!!!!!!

Good Golly Miss Molly it was a TECHNO FRUSTRATION morning!!!

Where did the summer go? Camp? Laughter? Thoughts? Girls, Girls, Girls? (That sounds like a movie, Oh IT IS!) Weddings Bells? Basketball? Movies? Swimming Pools? Sun bathing? Jobs? Cars? Re gearing? New Beginnings? New Visions? New Horizons? New Dreams?

The answer is YES.

Now it is time to make the most of the last of THIS SUMMER! ;-)

The greatest pleasures are the simple ones that make one smile with Loved ones!
